10/6/2019...Last quarter's adult Sabbath school quarterly was on "The Least of These". The lessons were on standing for those who are unjustly treated and being a voice for the voiceless. The lessons were on helping others who are in need and how by doing so unto the least of these it is as though we are doing it for Jesus. It was a very good study on this subject. It stood out to me that in three months of lessons the unborn and the issue of abortion were never mentioned. This subject seems to be swept under the rug in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. This month a vote is being taken in the Executive Committee on whether or not to revisit the Adventist Church's position on abortion which is essentially "pro-choice" during the General Conference session in 2020. How this vote goes will be very telling concerning the future of the SDA church. On this issue I am and will continue being a voice for the voiceless, in this case the unborn.
